TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE HIRE OF THE BROOKLANDS VILLAGE HALL, SUTTON - Hire agreement.

 

 

 

 

 

Availability and responsibility.

 

The Hall is hired from Sutton and District Royal British Legion Club Ltd and is subject to the discretion of the management committee and availability. The hirer is responsible for proper use of the hall, for payment of any damage incurred and indemnifies the Club against all claims received as result of the hire. The Club waivers responsibility for loss or injury of persons or personal possessions.

 

Hours of use.

Hire is available from 0900 hours to 0100 hours daily. The bar closes at midnight.

 

Cost of hall hire.

£15 per hour, reduced to £12 per hour for registered charities. Minimum of three hours hire, 0900 hours to 1600 hours. Minimum of six hours hire 1600 hours to 0100 hours. All-day hire available at £100. A 10% reduction is available for members with one year or more consecutive membership.

This fee includes the use of bar. Maximum guest capacity of two hundred and fifty; one hundred and fifty seated

24/6ft stage in place, larger stage is available with fourteen days notice, at no extra charge.  

 

Cleaning.

The hall is hired on a ‘leave it as you find it’ basis. If you do not wish to clean, the Club can supply a cleaner for the additional cost of £30.

 

Deposit.

A security deposit of £65 payable on the day of booking is required. The security deposit will be refunded 48 hours after the hiring of the hall, when it has been confirmed that the hall has been left in the condition in which it was hired and that no damage has been incurred.

Cancellations.

Deposit refunds are only available with fourteen days prior notice of booking date.

 

Payment.

All Balance monies must be paid fourteen days before the date of event.

 

Restrictions.

The minimum age for adult birthday parties is twenty one years, unless exceptionally agreed by the committee. Children’s birthday parties are permitted up to seventeen years, however no bar facilities will be made available.

Only alcohol supplied by the Club may be consumed on the premises with the exception of un-stocked products to which a corking fee will apply.
